The Partnership Grant Program supports major park and recreation improvements that expand recreational opportunities for Platte County residents.
Platte County Parks & Recreation Partnership Grant Program was established to help communities within Platte County develop, expand, and improve public parks and recreation facilities.
The primary goal of the program is to significantly increase recreational opportunities for Platte County residents through meaningful investments in public recreation projects that provide long-term community benefits.
Eligible Projects
Partnership Grant funding may be used for projects that expand and enhance public recreation facilities, including:
- Trails and trail connections
- Playgrounds and park improvements
- Athletic and recreational facilities
- Land acquisition for future park development
- Public recreation infrastructure
- Other capital projects that increase recreational opportunities for Platte County residents
All funded projects must be directly related to public recreation.
Funding
Grant awards typically range from $50,000 to $1,000,000 per project.
Funding is intended for larger-scale recreation projects that create lasting benefits for the community and improve access to parks and recreational opportunities throughout Platte County.

Applications for the 2026 Partnership Grant Program are due by:
