Family Friendly Bike Ride Along the Missouri River Front Trail

Ride Details:

  • Start & Finish: The ride begins and ends at E.H. Young Riverfront Park in Riverside, MO.

  • Route Options:
    The full challenge route is 14 miles — an out-and-back ride from E.H. Young Park to Platte Landing Park in Parkville and back to Riverside.
    There will be two optional turn-around points for those riding with small children or anyone looking for a shorter, more relaxed ride.

  • Trail Surface:
    The trail includes pavement, chat (crushed gravel), and gravel rock sections across the levee. Please be prepared for a variety of surfaces.

  • Family-Friendly Vibe:
    This is a free, non-competitive ride meant for all ages and abilities. Come enjoy the views and the ride — this is not a race!

  • Safety Note:
    As you bike past Ball Power Equipment and the Missouri River Boating Association, the trail crosses two active business driveways. Please obey all stop signs and posted traffic signage in this area.

  • Hydration Reminder:
    Help us keep the trail clean! Bring your own water bottle — we’ll have water stations along the route for refills.

  • Bubbles & Pancakes!
    🎈 Bubbles will be flowing from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM — great fun for kids and families before, during, or after your ride!
    🥞 Chris Cakes will be serving pancakes from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AMavailable to registered bike ride participants only.

Parents sign yourself up then go back in and sign up each child individually. We must have registration for each and every person on the trail
Completing the whole ride round trip = 14 miles
Water Stop 1 = Ground zero: Start Line
Water Stop 2 = approximately 6.0 miles round trip
Water Stop 3 = approximately 10 miles round trip
