Weston Bend State Park
Managed by Missouri State ParksOnly 40 minutes north of Kansas City, Weston Bend State Park offers secluded picnic sites, a campground and scenic views of the Missouri River from trails and an overlook accessible to persons with disabilities. There are 10.7 miles of trails, including a 3-mile paved bicycle trail.
The Bee Creek Shelter, a converted tobacco barn, is an enclosed shelter that can accommodate up to 125 guests. There is also an open shelter in the day use area that can accommodate 50 guests.
