Only 40 minutes north of Kansas City, Weston Bend State Park offers secluded picnic sites, a campground and scenic views of the Missouri River from trails and an overlook accessible to persons with disabilities. There are 10.7 miles of trails, including a 3-mile paved bicycle trail.

The Bee Creek Shelter, a converted tobacco barn, is an enclosed shelter that can accommodate up to 125 guests. There is also an open shelter in the day use area that can accommodate 50 guests.

Bee Creek Shelter will be closed throughout 2026 due to multiple improvement projects taking place within the park.
