Platte County Community Center North

Platte County Community Center North is a county-owned facility managed through a unique partnership with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City.  The county owns the building and all equipment and the YMCA programs the center, making it available to all with special discounts for county residents. Features of the facility include an indoor pool, wellness center, children’s play center, a gymnasium and a wide variety of youth and adult fitness and aquatics programs.

The YMCA has many different types of memberships available including individual, family, couple, teen, Active Older Adult and more. They will work with you to find the best plan available. Call the center at (816) 858-0114 to request a membership quote.

Platte County Community Center North is one of two facilities in the partnership with the YMCA. Under the YMCA umbrella, members have the privilege of utilizing over 14 YMCA facilities in the Kansas City area.

In addition to the many activities available with a membership, the center sponsors some terrific community programs including Trunk n’ Treat in October and Kids’ Night Out, once a month throughout the year.

The center is open seven days a week.
