Clay-Platte Baseball/Northland Girls Softball

Clay-Platte Baseball League Northland Girls Softball League offer  baseball and softball programs for ages 4 through 18  in  four different programs: T-ball, Coach Pitch, Machine Pitch and Competitive.  The Competitive teams are for ages 8 through 18.  The leagues has fields at Clay-Platte Sports Complex in Platte Purchase Park , Pleasant Valley Park and Line  Creek Park.  Seasons are offered in the spring and fall.  To contact the league, send an email to clayplattebaseball@yahoo.com or leave a voice mail message at (816) 728-3423.  Visit the team website by clicking here.

Mid-Continent Athletics

Mid-Continent Athletics is a baseball organization that encompasses towns in the northern part of Platte County as well as part of Buchanan County.  The league include Dearborn, Dekalb, Rushville, Edgerton, Gower, Faucet, Agency, Camden Point, Farley, Savannah and Weston. Northland Sports Alliance

The  Northland Sports Alliance provides organized youth recreational and competitive sports opportunities in soccer, basketball, baseball, t-ball, softball, volleyball, Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading, serving boys and girls as young as age 4 up to age 18. Leagues are both recreational and  competitive including elite and premier divisions in many sports. Platte City Parks & Recreation

The Platte City Parks & Recreation Dept offers a variety of programs including adult coed winter volleyball league, the Learn to Swim Program at the City swimming pool, Youth Basketball, Youth Softball, Youth Baseball, Youth Volleyball, and Youth Soccer.  Registration dates are:  Spring soccer – February;  Fall Soccer – August/September;  Youth Volleyball – August/September;  Youth Basketball – October; Youth Baseball/Softball – March; Youth Football – August; and Adult Volleyball – December.  For more information, call Platte City Parks & Recreation at (816) 858-5627 or visit the city website by clicking here.

YMCA

The YMCA offers many different programs each season through the Platte County Community Centers.  The programs are geared for younger ages (Bitty program for ages 3 -4) and adults.  The spring season has Bitty Soccer, Bitty Flag Football, Adult Flag Football, Adult Men's Basketball and Adult Co-Ed Volleyball.  Summer programs include Bitty Baseball, Bitty Basketball, Bitty Flag Football, Bitty Soccer, Adult Co-Ed Softball, Adult Men's Softball, Adult Flag Football, Adult Men's Basketball and Adult Co-Ed Volleyball.  Fall programs are Youth Basketball, Youth Flag Football, Bitty Flag Football, Adult Co-Ed Softball, Adult Flag Football, Adult Men's Basketball and Adult Co-Ed Volleyball.  Winter programs offer Youth Basketball, Bitty Basketball, Bitty Golf, FUTSAL League and Adult Co-Ed Volleyball.  To inquire about YMCA sports, call (816) 505-2622 or visit the YMCA website by clicking here.
