| Rose bed Caretaker |
Rose beds that need caring for are located on Southern Platte Pass Trail
at the northwest, southwest, and southeast corners of Klamm Drive and Highway 45 and on the west side of Chatham Avenue and Highway 45.
The rose beds are each about 1,000 square feet and need to be weeded and pruned. Volunteers may choose how many rose beds they would like
to commit to, from one to all four.
If you would like to be a volunteer please fill out the information below or call the office at (816) 858-3419

Each year, Platte County Parks and Recreation sponsors many volunteer activities with local groups, companies, and Scouts. Community is a shared experience and dedicated volunteers are invaluable to parks. Past projects have included installing fencing, creating wildlife habitats, painting park benches and tables, planting trees and shrubs, and debris cleanup. Platte County Parks and Recreation appreciates all volunteer efforts because these groups provide a major investment in park facilities and greenspace through their time and effort. If you are interested in volunteering please provide the following information and tell us how you would like to volunteer. Share with us your talents, skills, and passions. We welcome any and all volunteer ideas. How you would like to volunteer?
